GoodQuickLook Troubleshooting

Preview Does Not Change

Restart Finder so macOS reloads Quick Look extensions.

killall Finder

If the default preview still appears, open GoodQuickLook once and try the file again.

Unsupported File

Confirm that the related plugin is enabled in GoodQuickLook. Some formats may also require a complete file rather than a partial download from cloud storage.

Stale Quick Look Cache

macOS can keep old preview metadata. Restarting Finder usually resolves this. If the file is stored in iCloud Drive or another sync folder, wait for the file to finish downloading.
