Install the App

1. Download GoodQuickLook from the official source.
2. Move the app to the Applications folder if macOS asks you to do so.
3. Open GoodQuickLook once so macOS can register its Quick Look extension.

Confirm Finder Integration

After installation, select a supported file in Finder and press the Space bar. If the preview still uses the default macOS renderer, restart Finder or log out and back in.

Update Existing Installs

When updating from an older version, replace the app in the Applications folder and open the new version once. This helps macOS refresh extension registration.
